Utilizing a collaborative, strength-based approach, I am respectful and empathetic. My evidence-based specialties for depression and anxiety include motivational interviewing, and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT).
Additionally, I am trained in and use EMDR as a treatment for trauma.
Other professional accomplishments include: Conducted substance abuse counseling evidence-based techniques with veterans at an inpatient program. Co-authored two articles that were presented at the Association for the Advancement of Behavior Therapy in Boston in 1994.
Extensive experience with dual diagnosis clients, including at-risk youth and their families and adult offenders, and disabled and developmentally delayed clients. LGBTQ+ affirming.
