RENÈE HENDRIX, MA, Ph. M., LPCC

Treatment specialties and clinical interests: I enjoy working with individuals of all ages experiencing challenges with mood, depression, and anxiety. I am particularly interested in working with individuals struggling with anxiety, micro-traumas, aging, grief and loss, and depression.  I love various forms of art. I also have a strong love of learning whether it is about a rare disability or a therapeutic technique. I always seek to align my research and education with the population that I am counseling, so I can adapt my clinical techniques to fit the current population I support.

Clinical Approaches: I typically use the person-centered approach. I have also used CBT, mindfulness, art, and play therapy techniques. I have training in Sand Tray, Nutritional and Integrated Therapies and tapping techniques.  I have worked extensively with young people and disabled children and adults.
