I see mental illness as a holistic process and believe that hope is the primary guiding force in healing.  I am very direct, honest, and have immense respect for each individual I work with.  I listen well and engage easily.  

I am currently working on my doctorate in psychology with a primary focus on prevention of violence and early treatment modalities for anti-social behavior.  

Specialty Areas

Works with ages 3 to 70.  Has worked in psychiatric hospital settings as well as for us in the schools.  Specializes in trauma, neurobiology, family systems,  conduct disorders, attachment disorders, PTSD, schizophrenia.  Modalities used are the trauma outcome process, CBT (cognitive behaviroal therapy), experiential therapy, client centered therapy, and play therapy.  LGBTQ+ affirming.
