Congratulations on your decision to invest in yourself. You’ve taken the first step!
I have a direct no-nonsense, no holds barred approach to therapy. My belief is that effective counseling relies on building a solid and honest therapeutic relationship between client and therapist. I am a straight forward, solution focused, honest and empathic person who genuinely enjoys assisting others on their journey toward wellness, happiness and a better tomorrow.
Because every individual is different (as are circumstances, situations and needs), I utilize a wide range of evidence based therapeutic modalities based on client need, condition and circumstance. I employ a mix of Reality, Cognitive Behavioral, Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, Strength Based, Solution Focused, Art, Animal Assisted and trauma informed care. I encourage self care, mindful reflection, authenticity and a sense of humor. Change happens a day at a time. Life can be a difficult journey. We are all on this journey together and you are not alone.
