Marilyn Sponza, LMFT
I began my career as a social worker, assisting in the schools in a federally and state funded children’s center serving children 3-12 with a focus on a k-3 school program. I continued my training seeing adolescents individually and in groups at the high school level. I also have worked as the clinical supervisor to para-professional staff working with students at the k-6 level. Most recently I provided counseling to families in a busy ob-gyn clinic, helping families in transition. I have worked extensively in California and am now licensed in New Mexico.
I feel that is important to create an environment of safety and respect that enhances the potential for connection and real healing.
