Life can be full of challenges – at times feeling more like an endless line of repetitive chores – and other times like a distant field difficult to access. Therapy gives us all, young and old, new comers and long timers, an opportunity to slow down and rework, in a conscious way, our habitual ways of being in all matters related to the body (our behaviors), the heart (our feelings), and the mind (our thoughts).

As a therapist, I have learned to relate to my patients with empathy, listen to the spoken and unspoken messages of their narratives, and draw their attention to what transpires as important in their relationships outside of the therapy room and in the moment-to-moment psychotherapy with me.

In the twilight zone between homecoming and sailing off again to a new project, a new relationship, a new phase in your life, we can co-create a “good enough” container for the feelings to drop in and drop out, as many times as it takes for the symptoms (ex. the anxiety, the anger, the sadness) to turn into lighthouses (ex. memories, dreams, and insights), and the lighthouses into farolitos illuminating the way to the unique and creative aspects of your being in a cosmos full of equally unique and creative beings.
