CANCELLATION & NO SHOW POLICY
We prioritize our clients by holding a session time in our calendar for each person we see. When clients cancel an appointment, that session time is offered to other clients who need an appointment that week. When clients cancel with less than 24-hours notice or no show, other clients miss out on the ability to be seen and it also negatively impacts your counselor.
If you would like to cancel an appointment, we ask that you do so with at least 24-hour notice by calling 505-888-1686 or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
If an appointment is cancelled with less than 24-hours notice, or later than 5:00 p.m. on Friday for Monday appointments, the client will be charged $55.00, unless prohibited by Medicaid. Insurance does not cover no shows and late cancellations, so is the client’s responsibility to pay out of pocket. We will charge the credit card on file or send an invoice and you will not be able to be seen again until your balance is paid.
If you are a new client and no show or late cancel your very first appointment we will place you back on the wait list (except in case of emergency). If you are an existing client and no show or late cancel multiple times we will no longer save your spot in the calendar and you will be placed on a list for spots that become available due to client cancellation.
