Amy McGhee, MA, LPCC
Amy McGhee provides therapy to individuals and families with a focus on trauma, self-esteem, attachment issues, and communication repair. Amy began her career in Louisiana and Arkansas, after completing degrees at Centenary College of Louisiana and Louisiana Tech University. Prior to relocating to New Mexico, she worked for over 20 years in a community mental health agency, a children’s home and in private practice in Louisiana and Arkansas. Amy is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional.
Amy has a variety of skills that allow her to fit the treatment with the person and their particular situation. Amy offers a supportive warm relationship in the counseling session through open discussion and the development of personal insight.
